The amount of tiles in a box varies according to how big the tiles are. If you need to know an exact number of tiles per box, please see the tile box size information next to each tile.
Q. Can I order 1 series of Waterline tiles and different series of trim?
Yes. You can mix and match any series of tiles. Most tiles can be purchased individually.
Q. What kind of Waterline tile should I choose?
Since waterline tile defines your pool's interior shape and is visible at the waterline, you'll want to select a tile that reflects your sense of taste and imagination. You may want to choose a waterline tile that maintains a harmonious color scheme, or matches architectural features of your home, even creates a certain whimsical expression with patterned graphic designs in your tile.
Q. What is waterline tile?
It is the row of tile that lines the inside edge of your pool. Besides being decorative, it also allows for easier cleaning at the water level.
Q. What is the step trim?
This is generally used to mark the top edge of the steps leading into your pool.
Q. What is the pour over tile?
This tile is used as a transition between the pool deck and the waterline tile.
Q. What are matt and gloss tile?
A matt tile has a flat,low sheen finish,while a gloss tile is very smooth and shiny.
Q. Do you sell to the public?
Yes, we do offer our entire line of products to the general public.
Q. What makes an acceptable pool tile?
The tile must be acid resistant and frost proof.
Q. What is the difference between mud, flush, and wall tiles?
Mud caps have a leading edge that "hooks" over. Flush caps have one edge with a slight bevel. Wall tiles are flat on all four sides.

Q. Do I have to purchase full boxes of tile?
No. We will gladly break up boxes to fit your needs.
Q. Can I return tile?
Yes. We do accept returns of tile within 30 days of purchase, and include a 10% restock fee. There are no returns on bag goods (grout, thinset).
Q. What is a coping?
Coping is the brick that rings the top edge of the pool deck. This can be either concrete, clay, marble or granite.
Q. What is the difference between a mat/sheet tile and a solid tile?
- A mat/sheet tile is like a mosaic: there are many smaller pieces of tile assembled on a mesh in order to make larger tile. A solid tile is just that: a single piece of tile.
